In Topic: Handling simple HTTPS POST form submits on static sites?

Never mind, too much clutter in my brain today. Just have server use a redirect to success/failure page or same page with anchor (#ok/#fail) in address that script can act upon.

I clicked, but nothing happened...

You BASTAR*!!! Don't you realise what you've done?!? Every time you click, someone is murdered, a child is abused, or a cat is skinned.  :P

I apologise for not responding to some of the latest posts here, 2 years back, as I put this project on hold and didn't visit the forum as much as I used.

Well, I have returned due to the resurrecting my project and have done more research. I came to post what I believed would be my best route, only to find it recommended by Sephern above ( and, Sephern, I would be the client/developer :) ).

Any way, my route is going to be using Discourse as the starting point, then adding custom plugins and themes. Then, if that does not satisfy my vision, custom modification of the source would be done (of course leave full CC attributions in all code and final implementations. Honestly, Discourse has a lot of what I had visualised to be my final "product", minus a few major components geared to the project's specific purpose.
