I'm gonna have to swim against the stream here and admit that I actually like the new design. It looks nice.
Guess I'll have to ditch my Android for an iPhone soon.. I don't need another computer in my pocket anyway. -

Haha, you sure have some anger issues.
I can't view the site properly on my Android as well. Chrome crashes, Opera freezes and the standard browser fucks up the layout. -

Yeah, disregard, abandon ship!
I ended up using MongoDB. For anyone who's interested - this is how you can do it:
past = datetime.utcnow()-datetime.timedelta(hours=TIMEFRAME) now = datetime.utcnow() collection.find({"timestamp": {"$gte": past, "$lt": now}}) -

In Topic: nginx is slow serving images.

Nico, on 07 June 2013 - 07:22 AM, said:Very strange indeed! The rest of the sites seem reasonably fast. It's mostly noticeable with images/pdfs, etc...
I probably underestimated the traffic, though. Apparently I got over two and a half million requests in the past 5 days alone.
That is quite a lot of requests. It's a VPS, I assume?
Maybe you'd want to add file caching? http://wiki.nginx.or...open_file_cache
You could also try using vnstat to take a closer look at your traffic - http://humdi.net/vnstat/
It could be possible that you're already maxing out your bandwidth allocation.
