  1. Code Coverage?

    06 November 2012 - 01:12 PM

I have a project with a considerable amount of (client-side) Javascript, which is unit tested using QUnit. I'd really like to generate some reports about code coverage. Unfortunately it seems like the most suggested solution is JSCoverage (which has now been replaced by JSCover). There's no way I can use this because of licensing restrictions (it uses GPL :().

Does anybody have any experience with tools which could be used to calculate code coverage of QUnit tests, preferably that can be integrated into a build system? (If relevant, its a .net environment).

    Much thanks!
  2. The Future of Operating Systems

    29 June 2012 - 03:10 PM

Over the last few weeks we've seen some pretty big announcements. Microsoft have announced the Surface - the first piece of hardware they've released in a long time (and as a result showed off Windows 8 a bit more). Google have announced the next version of their Android operating system. iOS 6 was released at WWDC.

In the longer term, we've seen changes like touchscreens, cloud computing and personalization/integration becoming a bigger part of Operating Systems.

So, what do you think will be the future of Operating Systems (both mobile and desktop)? What would you like to see in future systems, or what big trends do you think are coming next?
