For front end work, I think the visual tabs would be somewhat useful, as it shows you what the page looks like. When working on the back end, it would plain suck. Pictures of code do not exactly help the user identify tabs.
I ripped some screen shots from the video, as I did not like how they never let us see the whole window at once.
