Ajax controller for mvc php
24 July 2012 - 08:34 AM
Hej!
I was wondering, is there any cool solutions for building controller or router part of the mvc pattern, using ajax. Thus making all requests to the server without reloading the page.
Would that even make sense to implement?
How much would the whole mvc patter change if you would use such approach?
I imagine I would build a router class that would catch all the href and posts, and instead of invoking a controller on the server it would request data from the controllers and then just load it in the view. Something like that...
I didn't find anything useful on the matter, so if someone can point me out in the right direction...
I guess there are some downsides to that... what would they be?
Any upsides?
