[request] "Comic" rocket with launch pad

Calling all aspiring artists :)
I admit it, when it comes to art and design, I'm useless :)

So I would really appreciate your help. I just came up with an idea for an "Under Construction" web page.

It is basically a rocket sitting at a launch pad in three states. First state, it just sits there. Second state, flames start appearing under the rocket. Third state, rocket has left pad and has launched. So this would require, at least, three layers (one for the rocket, one for the launch pad, and one for the flames. I think it would be a nice change to the standard construction hat/sign that people usually use.

It should be fairly easy to do in Illustrator (I'd like an ai file, so I can easily resize, rotate, or modify it), but I'm just not artistically inclined. I tried finding one on DeviantArt, but surprisingly there are very few rocket illustrations there. If someone can create this for me, I'd really be grateful :D

Here are a couple of examples (in raster format) of the style of rocket I'm thinking of:

I'll gladly PayPal enough for a couple beers/cocktails (say $20) to the person that comes up with what I need. I know its not much, but hey ... everyone loves a free drink :)

Not really, but thanks for looking :) I did find some on the DevianArt site (it seems I had filtered my first search), but none in vector format.

If nobody can help in the next couple of days, I'll probably just use one of the above pics and trace out the rocket in Illustrator, but given my "artistic skills" I hope I don't have to do that :D

Why do you need it vector?

I'll give it a shot later today :)

Great, thanks. I need it in vector format as that way I can resize, rotate, without any loss to image quality at all. I suppose PNG format, with transparent background, but in a fairly large file, would also be good enough. ;)

Still looking for this. Perhaps a PNG with transparent background would be good enough ...

Just came across a free vector (ai) drawing that I think I can use. For those interested, here is the link.

Alright, I'm absolutely useless when it comes to graphic arts. Could someone please create a launch pad, along the same design/feel of the rocket illustration I linked to? Doesn't have to be vector, even a background image with just the launch pad and white/transparent background colour would be great.

Thank for the effort but, as I said two posts up, I already have a good vector art rocket and just wanted a launch pad/scaffold. But I've just finished tracing a pic, so I don't need anything now :)

It isn't an .ai, it's vector shapes in Photoshop.

Ah I forgot about that! I used some of them in my project. I'll try and find the thread (that was so random btw)

That's actually pretty good, why not post links to the original files here, just in case anyone else would like to use them? :)

Now I just need to find some silhouetted city "scapes" ....
