Death Light


This is the bitch that made me get into web development. She's was coded over five years ago and still manages to run, but as you might see, really doesn't understand any advance topics (which makes it run a bit slugish). Anyway I told my mates I would put it back up so I did! Hopefully will replace it with rails code down the line.

is a textual army MMO, you buy weapons, tools, etc. to become the wealthiest and most powerful nation.
You buy UP(unit production) in your training facility to gain more soldiers per turn and buy upgrades to increase you multipliers.
Turns run every ten minutes, on the zeros. During turns your rank is update, you gain UP, and you gain your income.

Not sure if you're willing to take this serious or actually keep it locked away so only your friends can access it. If you're wanting to get it bigger, I would most definitely get on the security.

Login forum can be used to do an XSS-attack;
Preferences page can be used to do an XSS-attack;
Username can be used to do an XSS-attack;
Clans can be used to do an SQL-attack;
Training can be used to do an XSS-attack.

This was just a quick rough look, but it gives the idea. I would definitely get some fixes thrown in there.

Other than that it looks nice, seems like it has quite some functionality and a fun game to do with friends. :)

Clans can also have an XSS-attack ;) yeah there are many more bugs :) but I really put it backup for some of the vetran players that wanted to use it. I have a much more secure one in development, it's just that there is no money in it, no one donates, ads make shit, etc. that I'm not really developing it anymore.

If the code weren't so crappy I would have open sourced it long ago.

You know if anyone wants to help or w/e lemme know. This is actually how I got my foot in the door at many places; was a rough gem they said ;P

I can understand your problem. You can always open source it anyway, with a little disclaimer warning people that it's nothing well-coded. You never know if anyone will help.

only free host I knew of. It's been 2yrs since I had to pick a server; If I could I would get an EC2, but at the moment that's a bit expensive, going to wait until I finish building my stack (in VM ware).
