FCD - Free quality design goodies

You will know you need them the moment you see them
Yes, after a few weeks of being a lazy prat, I present to you FCD, a website with awesome design freebies! Make sure to keep a look out for new ones :D

http://fc-designs.com

Ps: Usually, I would have made a huge post here about FCD. I'm on my iPod, so screw it. Just have a look at the site :)

Also, if you'd like to contribute as well, just send me an email or a PM :)
Cheers!

He means: Why are you giving away Arron's designs? Shouldn't he be doing that?

The answer: anyone can contribute to the site, and ArronHunt was the first to do so...

I think you should have the contributor on the download page, but it looks really good :)

@Shane, Arron said quite a few times that he made those for FCD ;)

@Alex Yes, I'm going to add that tomorrow :)

Why is there no .psd in the download zip?!? Only 1 copyright image and a licence?!?

It's a layer ;) I dunno why Arron did it, but you just need to hide / remove the copyright layer. The sliders are below it.

Dude, this is gorgeous work! Fantastic site, fantastic layout, fantastic color scheme, and Arron's assets are hot as hell :) As long as it's easy to navigate previous packages over time, and you keep adding new, good-quality stuff like that, this could become one hell of a popular resource!

So far about 3 people have said the .PSD is just an image. I guess most people don't look at the layers panel and notice the 30-ish layers. FireCat can you move that first layer to the bottom please?

@ShanePerreault: Don't worry I gave permission ;)
@alexdavey: Well you downloaded the free psd didn't you? If the background is in there you can use it.

(So. Does FCD stand for Free Cwality Design?)

For Crap Design(er)s

Not saying that the designs are crap - they're really good - I'm saying that crap designers need good designs xD

Looks great, the only comment I've got is on the download button on the homepage, you have to click the text itself. Make the whole button a link ;)

EDIT: Also, spelling mistake on the bottom paragraph:

Quote

How can I legally use the files?
This is an important question. All files available on FCD are free, however they have their limitations as well. Every zip should contain a Readme file containing information about the licensing of the freebie - please refer to it for information concerning the files and their allowed uses (personnal, commercial, etc.). For further information, please contact me through email, at cyril [at] thisdomain.com.

Only one N in personal ;)

EDIT 2: API link is broken.
