iSuperepo

http://isuperepo.com/
iSuperepo
A website coated in awesome sauce

Hello all!
I'm here to announce the official opening of my iPhone/iPod Touch repository site iSuperepo.
iSuperepo is a simple, easy way for anyone to submit apps and themes on to Cydia.

http://isuperepo.com/

Please feel free to sign up and start submitting, apps and themes submitted will go into a queue for approval and I will endeavor to approve all submissions within 24 hours.

We do need support though, so please do these few things for us if you like us:

  • Add http://isuperepo.com/ to Cydia if you have a jailbroken iPod Touch/iPhone
  • Go to any iPhone community you know and tell them about this site and repo
  • Submit just a couple of good working themes. Themes are very easy to make, see http://saurik.com/id/9
  • Connect to IRC, irc.rizon.net #iSuperepo
  • Follow our Twitter @iSuperepo and tweet about the site

This thread will now be the official chat thread for iSuperepo, moving from The Idea Oven since this is so much more than an idea now.

Want to Become a Moderator?

We are currently looking for good reliable moderators to help approve packages and promote the site. If you match the following criteria send a PM to me:

  • Have at least 5 Packages Submitted on iSuperepo
  • Be active on the IRC channel
  • Be willing to promote the site and suggest it to your friends

While tables are fine (maybe) for starting off, for this site you really shouldn't use tables for the layout

Also, what about people tethering with their computers (for the IP ban)

1, I don't use tables for the layout...
2, Way too slow to do significant spamming, remember it's a 1 click operation for me to ban them, delete all their packages, ban their email etc. If it becomes a real problem I'll add email activation too but I really don't think it'll get that bad.

Hmm, safari's inspect element highlighted the whole site for the tables in browse :/

On the submit page, if not logged in, the page doesn't finish loading (including closing tags)

Correct, I just execute die("You are not logged in"); in case of not bring logged in. That's the case all over the site, most browsers won't have a problem with it, but once I get some time I will fix this.

Yeah thats what I assumed. You could just change it to die("You are not logged in.\n</body>\n</html>") and it would close them off, and put them on new lines

They haven't been uploaded it seems, make sure you let it fully upload. There's no packages in my queue for moderation right now.

Guys the themes must be simple themes that go into /Library/Themes/.
You just uploaded a mad theme with install instructions etc etc
You need to upload a simple .theme.zip one that works copy paste into the Winterboard folder

Also new patch, r.12. r.11 got lost in /dev/null

But can i be a moderator?

(P.S So we cant buy this anymore?)

Hey, I would love to make you some awsome themes for your repository! :P Also I am often on Cydia and could test all new packages if that would be useful.
Check out my site. Its a Work in Progress but its getting there. E-mail me here.

Unfortunately yes, when I moved to the new domain all identifiers needed to be changed

from
cc.co.isuper-repo.<name>

to
com.isuperepo.<name>

If I had like 50 packages then I'd write a script to migrate the stuff, but there were only a few packages so it makes more sense to just resubmit.

Get yours by going into the User Control Panel, it'll appear above the controls.
(You'll only have one if you have at least 1 approved package on the repo, the only people so far who have them are Joejama, Horoscope911 and me)
