How can I install MySQL and manage it?

What program do I use to manage a database?

Hi, I downloaded the MySQL installer from mysql.com . What im trying to do is create a database, create a table and connect the coding to webpage via
SQL codes. Do i use the workbench program that it installed? There is also a MySql Line command prompt. Which of these programs
can i use to create a database file and create a table in the database file? Then, how do I connect the database, via SQL codes?

I'm using IIS if that helps.

If you would like to access it from a webpage, you will need a server-side language also installed on whatever you are using to host your website. Do you have PHP or another language that supports MySQL installed? From there, we can help you

Anyways, don't use the mysql_ extension. It's outdated:

You can use the MySQL workbench, I think it's pretty good (although I last used it a few years ago). What server-side programming language do you want to use (for example, PHP, ASP.NET, Ruby, Python, etc.)?
