Chosing a domain name for a website

Hello a new forum for me! :unsure:

It is challenging for me to chose a good name for my English web-site due to English is not my primary language.
My friends told be that this community is a good place to ask for a help, so please, feel free to make any suggestions. Please, share if you have a good name on you maind thet suite me.

It's about coming up with something creative, short, and meaningful, in my opinion. Though "Google" was not something meaningful until after it became such a great product.

Google was actually picked for a reason.

What about things like SocialShare, SocialMotion or "Promotial" (a mix of promotion and social)?

I'm not very good at naming things either

Yes I know it was picked for a reason. But the word "Google" was not meaningful, now it is in the dictionary.

Discussing and understanding why certain domains are popular is a great way to pick a good one. You said you were having a hard time coming up with one, maybe look at how Google came up with theres.

Particularly, what do you think about KickCaster.com or ViralCaster.com?
Please, elaborate more on it's sound and meaning as I can't estimate well do to my English.

Perfectly honestly, I don't think they are great and they don't represent the aim of your site particularly well. A bit of advice would be to not rush into picking something that defines your site so fundamentally but take time to ponder a lot of choices.
Once you really have something you like:
- ask random people if it sounds like what it intends to be. If they react negatively, perhaps have a rethink
- give yourself a week or so for further deliberation, you may find you think the name isn't quite right after a little more thought and you won't be out of pocket if you've held off till then.
- think about not only the name but how you could build a brand around that name, even down to fine details like logo and layout. If you ever grow big enough, you have to be comfortable introducing yourself as the owner of site xyz.com. If you're not comfortable with it then you won't be able to represent it in a way that does it justice (I hate to see an awesome service let down by poor naming).
- all the things from that link earlier

Perhaps these are more in depth than you need at the moment, but they're something to bear in mind for the future when building the name today.

Yes, it define the site to much fundamentally. I wish to have more broader and abstract suggestions. Picking good synonyms and abstract thinking needs good English language knowledge, that's why I posted here. As for general guides, don't get me wrong, I appreciate but I can google a lot about that.
