Hmm, interesting!
Chariot didn't change their name to TPG, TPG bought them. TPG's been around for a very long time (I've been with them for ADSL since 2005, and dial-up before then).

Repeat after me: jQuery is not JavaScript. It is not the answer to every JavaScript-related question. When you have to write some JavaScript, do not instantly react with "Oh, I'll do that with jQuery!"

Ahahahahahaha xD

I'm still in the process of moving all of mine (woo name.com) because GoDaddy so *very* conveniently does not advertise the fact that private registrations have to be canceled before a domain can be transferred. I have two separate transfer orders that now have to expire in 5 days before I can retry them. Sheezus this company kills me.

Things are not explained by the past, they are explained by what happens right now. That creates the past, and it begins here. That's the birth of responsibility.

You'd be supporting a terrible, terrible company. You'd be paying for crap.
And you'd risk (I have to say, especially you, considering your sites) having your domains taken down ;)

I can survive those, I think.

Internet ninjas are going to find you and before they kill you in your sleep they are going to use little cyber worms to get your passwords to transfer the domains for you.

It's more of an ethical/moral thing more than something bad happening to their customers, like taking arrows to the knees.

I first heard that meme this morning, and it's already annoying the hell of me. Seriously, please stop it. It isn't funny.

Yeah, it used to be funny, then it took an arrow to the knee. I don't even play Skyrim.

This sentence tells me that taking an arrow to the knee is an ethical/moral thing. Lol.

I play Skyrim, and am happy to say I have yet to take any arrows to any appendages.

C-c-c-c-omboo-breaker!
This thread got derail'd pretty quick.

So let's say SOPA does pass, would an infringing leak on GoDaddy's site bring the other sites linked to it's services go down too?
(I doubt such a thing would happen, as GoDaddy is probably getting some immunity outof supporting SOPA.)

You're all late. I started using them in 2006, back when DomainSite was their main brand. Haha :P

GoDaddy has got to be the most corporate company online. They offer a shitty service (hosting, not domain registration), and they advertise with cheap tricks. I fucking hate that company.
